VOXL CAM Modem Setup

This guide applies to VOXL CAM units built with a modem: SKUs C3-FC1-M8, C7-FC1-M8, C3-FC1-M5, and C7-FC1-M5.

The modem in VOXL CAM is the VOXL LTE modem add-on, so its setup is the same as on a standalone VOXL. The V2 LTE Add-On User Guide covers both steps below in full; the 4G LTE Modems section has the datasheets.

Install the SIM card

Power the unit off, insert a nano SIM in the modem’s SIM slot, and power back on. See the SIM section of the V2 LTE Add-On User Guide.

Configure the modem

Configure the carrier profile and bring the connection up with voxl-modem, as described in the V2 LTE Add-On User Guide.
