Starling 2 & Starling 2 Max Hardware Quickstart
The Starling 2 and Starling 2 Max share the same VOXL 2-based compute stack and the same software experience — everything in the rest of this bootcamp applies identically to both. The differences are the airframe and the power system:

Starling 2 Max requires both batteries installed — the two packs power the drone in series. Never mix a charged and a depleted pack.
Power On
- Inspect the airframe and propellers for damage from shipping.
- Install the battery (Starling 2) or both batteries (Starling 2 Max) and connect the XT30 connector(s).
- The drone boots automatically when battery power is applied. Startup takes roughly 30 seconds; the ESC will play its startup tone.
