Overview

The QCS6490 system image is the operating system for QCS6490-based VOXL platforms, including VOXL 3 (M0254) and the QCS6490 variants of ModalAI drones such as Seeker Vision 5” (D0008-9) and Seeker Vision 10” (D0020-9). Unlike the QRB5165’s closed BSP, the QCS6490 runs an upstream mainline Linux kernel; platform-specific behavior is handled in the VOXL SDK layer.

The system image ships inside VOXL SDK releases (qcs6490_SDK_x.y.z.tar.gz) and is installed by flashing the SDK. It is not distributed separately.
